The contents and basic requirements of each energy audit are specifi ed in the relevant Directive. During the first analytical phase of the energy audit all available data relevant to the energy and power management are collected. Then these data are analyzed and the effi ciency and quality of energy consumption and management is evaluated, as well as consumption of fuels and the relevant expenses. The second phase of the audit evaluates the discovered defi ciencies and recommends and calculates the return on invested funds. Also additional evaluations and activities may be added to this
standard auditing procedure, which may be beneficial for the future user for future problem solving. This may include for example, operational measurements, detailed evaluation of the efficiency of heat sources and mostly, proposal of cost-saving measures on the level of the project documentation territorial management.
